Description

Barn at Halford Hill Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a steeply pitched corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has stone coped gables with moulded kneelers and consists of five bays. There are two threshing floors; the one on the left has plank doors, while the one on the right has corrugated iron doors. Inside, the barn has a trenched purlin roof with collars, windbraces, and ties, and the principals are pegged at the apex.
