Description
Halford Hill Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared blocks of limestone rubble and features a slate roof with stone coped gables and brick end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys plus an attic high, with a two-window range. The central entrance is highlighted by a gabled porch that contains a plank door. On either side of the entrance are three-light wood-mullioned and transomed windows with wood lintels, and there are two similar windows on the first floor. The attic includes two casement windows. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered beams, stone flags, a 20th-century staircase, and plank doors. The building is included for its group value.
