Description
Granby Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone repairs and alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond and features a steeply pitched red tile roof with stone coped gables and brick end stacks. The building has a U-shaped plan and stands two storeys plus an attic high, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door with an overlight that has glazing bars. This entrance is flanked by sash windows with four panes each, which have stone keyblocks, brick heads, and stone sills. There are three similar windows on the first floor, along with two gabled roof dormers. The farmhouse also has a limestone plinth, quoins, and a flat band.
