Description
The Folly is a house that was originally built around 1790, with later alterations and additions. The front is made of limestone ashlar, while the sides and rear are constructed from squared coursed limestone rubble. It features a hipped slate roof and a renewed stone lateral stack. The building has two storeys and consists of two octagonal sections placed side by side. The entrance is located on the right and is sheltered by a hipped porch supported by slender columns. Each floor has sash windows with stone lintels and stone sills, and there are flat bands at the first and second floors. To the left, there is a limestone single-storey extension with a gabled stone slate roof. At the rear, there is an early 19th-century ashlar extension. Inside, there are fireplaces from the 18th or early 19th century and a staircase, along with a cellar.
