Description

Halford Bridge is a medieval bridge that has undergone later repairs. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features four pointed arches, which have brick repairs. The bridge has a stone parapet and coping, while the brick section on the right includes moulded stone coping. This location was the site of a civil war skirmish in 1645. There is also a further detached span to the left.
