Description

This is a house, originally part of a row, with a 17th-century wing at the rear and an early to mid-19th century facade, altered in the early 20th century. The front is of colourwashed brick with a brick corbel cornice. It has a slate roof and brick ridge chimneys. A wing of exposed timber framing, with whitewashed brick infill and a cement tile roof, is also present. The building is in an L-shape. It is two storeys high with a two-window front. The front door is early 20th century, with a hood supported by shaped brackets. The front windows are 20th-century leaded light casements set within segmental brick arches. A bay window with mock framing is located on the left-hand side. The long, low rear wing, constructed in two stages, has irregular window placement. Late 20th-century alterations and additions have been made to the rear.
