Description
Fosbroke House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a moulded plaster cornice. The building has an L-plan layout and stands two storeys tall, with a three-window range on the left and a lower two-window range on the right. The entrance consists of a four-panelled half-glazed door set within a moulded wood classical doorcase that includes pilasters, a pediment, and a dentil cornice. The windows are 16-pane sashes, with a 20-pane sash in the centre, all topped with painted stone flat arches that have keystones. The lower range is an extension of a single-storey wing, which has quoins on the ground floor that project beyond the upper wall. The cornice features diagonally set headers, and there is one triangular-headed window on the ground floor. A wing extends to the rear.
