Description
This stable, now used for storage, is located approximately 12 meters north of The Butchers Arms Public House. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos, and there is a 20th-century brick stack at the right end. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of three bays. It features two stable doors and a plank door with a blocked overlight. There are two-light windows on the left and right sides, and the openings have chamfered painted wood lintels. The left return side includes a pitch hole, while the gables have oval openings framed with moulded stone. Inside, the roof is a through purlin design.
