Barn With Attached Buildings Approximately 18 Metres South West Of Hollow Meadow Farmhouse (Not Included)

This is a barn with attached buildings located approximately 18 meters southwest of Hollow Meadow Farmhouse, likely built around 1700 with later alterations. The barn is timber-framed, featuring mainly 19th-century brick infill and weatherboarding on the gable walls, topped with a tile roof.

The exterior consists of a three-bay structure with an aisle on the southwest side and opposed central entrances leading to the threshing floor. It has square framing with passing braces in the lower corner panels and heavily jowled posts. The attached buildings are made of early 19th-century brick, one of which has a low-swept gable-end roof and the other includes a cart entrance.

Inside, the barn retains much of its original structure, including pegged tie beam and collar trusses with queen posts and additional king struts, as well as V-struts above the collars. The trusses flanking the threshing floor are partly closed and feature original pegged diagonal braces along with slightly later nailed additional braces and some likely original boarding. The barn also has double trenched purlins and wind braces, with a flagged threshing floor.
