Description

The war memorial, located approximately 17 metres west of the Church of St Peter in Wellesbourne, was constructed around 1920. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a plinth set on two steps that supports an octagonal shaft topped with a capital and a Celtic cross. The memorial includes four gabled buttresses and has Tudor-headed inscription panels on both the plinth and the base of the shaft.
