Description
Keys House is a house built in 1660, with a large wing added in the late 20th century. It is constructed from coursed squared ironstone and features a diagonally-set cement slate roof with coped gable parapets and moulded kneelers, along with a stone ridge stack that has a brick shaft. The house has a two-unit plan that extends to an L-plan, with two storeys and an attic. The main facade has a one-window range, while the right side includes a two-window late 20th-century wing. The gable faces the road and features 4-light, 3-light, and 2-light double-chamfered mullioned windows. The left return side has a two-window range with ground floor 3-light mullioned windows, where the mullions have been removed and leaded casements inserted. The right return side has a slight projection with a single-light window above and a large late 20th-century dormer. The entrance is located in the late 20th-century wing and has a ribbed door set in a chamfered Tudor arch. The interior has not been inspected.
