Description
The garden wall and two stone gateways at Compton Wynyates date from the 18th century, although they incorporate earlier elements. The wall is constructed of red brick, featuring a diaper pattern in dark brick and is built in Flemish garden wall bond. It has a stone coping and the walls rise up to the two gateways, which are designed with Tudor doorways and wooden doors.
