Description

The garden wall and gatepiers at Howletts Zoo Park date from the late 18th century. The wall is constructed of red brick and stands about 8 feet tall, featuring buttresses at regular intervals. There are two pairs of square brick gatepiers, each topped with stone pineapple finials.
