Description

Garden Cottage, located within Howletts Zoo Park, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. This two-storey building features attics in the gable end and is constructed of red brick. It has a tiled roof with one hipped dormer and shaped Dutch gable ends on both the north and south sides. The eaves cornice is adorned with brick cogging, and there is an 8-stringcourse. The cottage has three casement windows, some of which are blocked, and a four-centred brick doorcase.
