Description

This is a terrace of three town houses located on John Street, Stratford-upon-Avon. The houses were built in 1828, with number 2 added in 1851. They are constructed of brick with buff brick headers, and have slate roofs with brick end and cross-axial stacks.

The houses are in a Georgian style, and have three storeys with a four-window front. A top modillioned brick cornice runs along the top. The entrances, positioned to the right of the windows, feature doorcases with fluted pilasters and consoled cornices, and overlights above six-fielded-panel doors. Number 2 has panelled pilasters and a four-flush-panel door, along with a segmental-headed entry with a plank door on its right side. The windows have sills and rubbed brick cambered arches above twelve-pane sashes, with six-pane sashes on the second floor. Number 2 has windows positioned above the entrance, and number 4 has horned sashes.
