Description
Lower Skilts Farm features a wall located approximately 4 meters north of the farmhouse, dating from around 1560 to 1570. This wall is constructed of dark red English bond brick with blue brick diapering and has a tile coping. It is part of a group that includes a gatehouse, an attached building, and another wall, as well as a building and an attached barn. Together, these structures represent the remains of a house that replaced the Grange of Studley Priory.
