Description
Pratts Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features an old tile roof, with partially rebuilt brick end and ridge stacks. The building is designed in an L-plan, with a wing extending to the right at the rear. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. A six-panelled door is located between the first two bays, and there are leaded three-light casements throughout. All openings are adorned with contrasting stone lintels that include keyblocks. The left side of the building has a long narrow staircase window, while the wing and attic feature two-light casements. There are 20th-century windows that have been inserted. At the rear, there is a two-panelled door, an open porch, and a 19th-century brick lean-to, along with a two-light casement. The wing includes a plank door and three-light casements with painted wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
