Description
Stonecroft is a row of three cottages that were converted into one house, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with the conversion taking place in the late 20th century. The building features regular coursed limestone and a slate roof, with brick on the left end and large ridge stacks. Originally, each cottage had a one-unit plan and the structure is two storeys high with a six-window range. A late 20th-century porch is located between the second and third bays, featuring a part-glazed panelled door. The sixth bay has a half-glazed six-panelled door. The windows are old two-light centre-hung leaded casements, and all openings are topped with stone flat arches, with contrasting limestone on the first floor. Four of the first-floor windows have old plank shutters. The interior includes two open fireplaces.
