Description
Little Thatch is a house that has been converted into a surgery. It dates from the 17th century or early 18th century, with some later alterations. The building is constructed of coursed lias limestone and has a roughcast finish. It features a steeply pitched thatched roof with a rendered brick end stack and has a single-unit plan.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a single-window range. The entrance, located to the right, has an architrave surrounding a 20th-century door. The windows are fitted with timber lintels and consist of 3-light small-paned casements. There is also a late 20th-century single-storey brick wing with a slate roof that extends forward to create a porch on the left return, which is covered by a hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected.
