Description
This building is a granary or stable located approximately 25 meters west of Manor Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with limestone quoins and features a steeply pitched stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses. The structure is single storey plus attic and has a two-window range. An exterior brick staircase with stone steps leads to the loft on the left side. The wide entrance is approximately central and has a moulded wood door-frame, wood lintel, and a wood gate door, with a partly limestone surround. To the right of the entrance, there is a small two-light window opening with a wood lintel. On the first floor, there is a loft entrance featuring a wood door-frame, plank door, and wood lintel, along with a three-light wood mullioned window to the right, also with a wood lintel. This building is included for its group value.
