Description

This is an outbuilding and stable located immediately north-east of Charlecote Mill House, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of brick and has a tiled roof, forming an L-shape. The stable features a cogged brick cornice.

On the exterior, there is a segmental-headed entrance to the right of the center, which has a plank door set in a heavy pegged frame. Flanking the entrance are segmental-headed windows that are nearly square and have heavy frames. Above the entrance, there is a pitching door that projects above the eaves and is topped with a gable. There is also a small inserted opening at the left end. The lower block attached to the left end projects forward and includes a stable door in a small section next to the stable. The main part of the building has two stable doors, a plank door, and two small windows in between.

Inside, the stable features chamfered beams and a roof supported by queen post and collar trusses, paired purlins, and spurs to the wall plates.
