Description
This garden wall and gatepier, located approximately 15 metres north of the dovecote at Radway Grange, dates from the mid-18th century. The wall is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone and features a coping. The gatepier incorporates part of a 16th or 17th century moulded architrave, which has been used upside down. It includes sunk shaped panels with decorative jewel work and has a top made of moulded stone, possibly a section of a plinth. This structure is included for its group value.
