Description
Long Compton Mill is a late 18th-century house with an attached 19th-century mill, situated in Little Wolford. The building is constructed of square coursed limestone with quoins. The mill has coped gables. The house has a C20-tile roof with a brick ridge and end stacks, while the mill has a stone end stack. The house follows a 2-unit plan and has two storeys and a 2-window front. It features a range of 19th-century two- and three-light casement windows with wood lintels and stone flat arches, along with a C20 front door. The two-storey mill, attached to the right, has three-light casement windows with segmental heads, and two 19th-century plank doors with segmental heads. Further 3-light casements with wood lintels are visible to the rear of the house. The interior of the house includes chamfered spine beams.
