Description

This chest tomb, dated 1748, is located approximately 1 meter east of the south aisle of the Church of St. Edmund in Shipston on Stour. It is made of limestone and features a heavily moulded base and ledger with baluster corners. The tomb is surrounded by railings, and there is a cartouche on the east side inscribed with 'G.M./1748'.
