Description
There are two headstones located approximately 20 meters north of the northeast corner of the north aisle of the Church of St. Peter and St. Clare. These headstones date from the late 17th century to early 18th century and are made of carved ironstone. The left headstone features a segmental top with a winged head, decorated with festoon, foliage, and flowers. The right headstone has a moulded segmental top with a winged head and foliage, along with a shaped panel that has a segmental top and flanking volutes. These headstones are included for their group value.
