Description
Toad Hall is a house dating from the late 17th century, constructed of limestone ashlar featuring a plinth, quoins, and coped gables. It has a slate roof with an ashlar end stack, which has two flues on a moulded plinth and is linked by a cornice. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range with a two-unit plan. On both the ground and first floors, there is a range of two three-light mullioned windows, and on the first floor to the left, there is an additional two-light mullioned window. The windows are adorned with hood moulds and label stops, although some of the mullions may have been replaced. The roof also features two small skylights. The door, located in a 20th-century or much restored 20th-century range to the left, is also from the 20th century and has a gabled hood. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
