Description

This former butcher's shop and slaughter house, located approximately 12 meters southeast of Brook Farmhouse, dates back to 1708 and was altered in the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick, with the right return side made of coursed squared limestone, and features a tiled roof. There is a stable door on the right and an unglazed window on the left. The right return side displays a datestone with the initials WBA and has three dovecote openings above. This structure is included for its group value with Brook Farmhouse.
