Description
Greenway Farmhouse and the attached barn are located on Rugby Road in Pailton. The farmhouse dates from the late 16th century and features a timber-framed structure with some close studding on the first storey. The infill is made of brick and plaster, which has been whitewashed. The roof is covered with slate from the 20th century, and there are brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The building has two storeys and a four-window range. There is a 19th-century panelled and part-glazed door set within a 19th-century gabled porch. The first and ground storeys have 20th-century casement windows. The brick plinth has been renewed in some areas. Inside, the farmhouse retains some original beams on the ground storey and features an open fireplace. The barn, which is attached to the right of the farmhouse, dates from the late 18th or early 19th century.
