Description
Old Lodge Farm is a barn located approximately 10 meters south of the farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century, with some rebuilding in the 19th century. The barn is timber framed with brick infill, although it has been largely rebuilt in brick. It features an old plain-tile roof and consists of five bays. The barn has double-leaf plank doors, and the left return side includes a plank door with a wooden lintel. Inside, there are 19th-century brick buttresses supporting the central bay. The roof has a trenched purlin queen strut design with renewed struts. This barn is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
