Description

White's Farmhouse barn, located approximately 20 metres south-west of the farmhouse, is a late 17th-century structure. It features weatherboard cladding over a light timber frame, resting on a late 17th-century brick plinth. The barn has a 20th-century tiled roof and an aisled plan with four bays. The front has 18th-century plank double doors with strap hinges, while the rear has double doors from around 1900. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, there are jowled posts braced to the tie beam and wall plate, a queen-post truss with clasped purlins, and some surviving windbraces.
