This is a row of seven headstones located approximately 3 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Margaret. They date from the early 18th century and are made of carved sandstone, all featuring inscriptions for the Lickorish family.
The first headstone on the left is very eroded. The second headstone is dated 1710 and has a winged head top, with a large sunk oval panel decorated with a wreath and flower spandrels, inscribed to Jonathon. The third headstone features a large scrolled shaped top and a sunk shallow convex panel with incised leaves and scrolls, inscribed to Joanna.
The fourth headstone is dated 1712, showcasing a scrolled pediment with a winged head, a moulded sunk panel with stylised drapery, and is inscribed to Richard. The fifth headstone, dated 1701, has a triangular top with a winged head and stylised drapery, inscribed to Mary.
The sixth headstone, dated 1720, has a segmental top with a winged head, a moulded sunk panel featuring a winged head at the base, flanked by strips of lozenge ornament, and is inscribed to Joshua. The seventh headstone, dated 1749, is much eroded and is inscribed to Sarah.
