Description
The Manor House is a house built in the early 19th century, with additions made to the rear. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a string course. The exterior includes a moulded painted wood cornice with dentils and modillions, and it has an old tile hipped roof with brick ridge stacks. The building is designed in an early Georgian style and has an L-plan layout with a wing on the right side at the rear. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and has a symmetrical front with a five-window range. The entrance includes a half-glazed fielded 10-panel door, and all window openings are topped with gauged red brick flat arches. There are three pedimented roof dormers with leaded 2-light casements. The interior has not been inspected. The name "The Manor House" has been in use since around 1928, when the original Manor House near the church was demolished.
