Description

Manor Farmhouse, dating from around 1840, is a red brick building with a distinctive Flemish bond pattern and decorative blue brick detailing. The roof is covered with old plain tiles featuring a fish-scale diaper pattern. It has a large brick end stack on the main range, and a ridge stack on the cross wing. The house is arranged in an 'L' shape, with a wing to the rear right, a cross wing to the right, and a smaller single-storey range to the left. Constructed in a Tudor Gothic style, the farmhouse is two storeys with an attic, and has a three-window front. A gabled porch, set into an angle of the building, features a painted, chamfered stone Tudor arch, leading to a six-panelled arched interior door. Windows are painted iron-laced casements within painted, chamfered stone surrounds. The ground floor windows predominantly have three lights, while the first floor windows have two lights. The main range incorporates a half-dormer window and a small square single-light window above the porch. The cross wing has a single-light window in the attic. The interior remains uninspected.
