Description

Bretford Bridge is a bridge with origins dating back to the 13th century. It underwent extensive repairs in 1653 and was largely rebuilt in the 18th century. The bridge is constructed of sandstone ashlar, with some areas of brick patching. It features a string course, one semi-circular arch, and four pointed arches, along with cutwaters. The parapets curve outward and end in square piers.
