Entrance lodge. Mid/late C18, with later additions to rear. Sandstone rubble.Plain-tile roofs and brick stacks to rear. Gatehouse of two round towers and large four-centred arch with three small openings above. Four-centred windows. Towers have small leaded lancet to each floor, string course to upper part, and plain parapets. High walls to left and right. To rear, towers have four-centred doorways and ribbed doors facing drive. Two-light windows with Y-tracery, and lancet above. Ranges beyond have small lancet. Further ranges, probably C19, have two-light casements and single lights above.
