NUNEATON AND BEDWORTH ARBURY PARK SP39SW 1/25 Bath house beside North Drive at SP 3341 9046 - II

Bath house. Late C18. Sandstone rubble, with rubble vaulting. Plan consists of an adjoining square and circle. Deliberately primitive style. Round-arched projection to drive has stone seat. Circular bath chamber on right is incomplete, with parts of wall and most of vaulted dome collapsed. Left return side has simple round arch. Doorway within it has circular opening above, cut through a single block. Vaulted chamber inside has door to bath chamber. Circular bath has remains of steps.
