Description

This barn, located 20 meters northeast of Green Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red brick in a random bond pattern and features a plain-tiled gabled roof that is hipped at the east end. The barn consists of five bays, which may have originally extended further. The north wall includes breathers and some blocked openings, while the south wall has cart openings. Inside, the barn has been converted for use as a cow byre. The roof is supported by cambered tie-beams with inclined struts to the blades and has straight wind bracing for each of the two tiers of through purlins.
