Description

The Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century and early 19th century. It has a timber-framed structure with later red brick infill and a casing on the front wall. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, featuring an internal stack that is positioned off the ridge. The building has a three-bay plan and consists of one storey with an attic, which includes one 20th-century gable dormer. There are segmental arches above two three-light wood casements, and the doorway is located at the right-hand end. The south gable end reveals small framing that consists of two panels in height on each wall.
