Description

The lodge located on the right-hand side of the southeast entrance to Packington Park, approximately 570 meters southeast of Packington Hall, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of buff sandstone ashlar on a brick plinth, with a rendered rear wall. The lodge features a pyramidal slate roof with a moulded stone eaves cornice and has a square plan. There is a doorway with a square head in the side wall opposite the carriageway. The southeast elevation is pedimented and has a rusticated surround to a recessed round-headed arch. It also includes a hung sash window with glazing bars set in a square head.
