Description

The stables, located 20 meters northeast of Maxstoke Hall Farmhouse, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick in an English garden wall style, resting on a sandstone plinth. The building features a plain-tiled roof with a dentil eaves cornice and is two storeys high. On the first floor, there are two unglazed lunette windows set in raised stone surrounds, along with one wooden casement window. The ground floor includes three stable doorways, one of which has a split door, and four unglazed windows positioned under segmental arches.
