Description
Olde Rectory Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is timber-framed with red brick infill and has a plain-tiled roof. The cottage features an end stack at the south end, which is from the 19th century, and a side stack on the rear wall. The structure consists of a single north-south range with four bays and stands two storeys tall.
On the first floor, there are five early 20th-century leaded light casement windows. The ground floor includes a bow window and a four-light casement, both from the 20th century, positioned on either side of a doorway that has two glazed panels. The timber framing is exposed, showcasing three panels in height on each wall. The gable ends feature short upward bracing and raking collar struts.
