Description

OVER WHITACRE ATHERSTONE ROAD SP29SE (East side) 3/126 Gatepiers, and gate 5m NW of Holt Hall Farmhouse (not included) - II Pair of gatepiers and gate. Late C17/early C18 and early C19. Rusticated sandstone with moulded cornice, surmounted by original ball finials on stems with square bases. Wrought-iron gate. Possibly built for Richard Sadler (d.1734) of Holt Hall.
