Description

This is a wall and doorway located 100 meters northeast of Maxstoke Castle, dating from the early 20th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and has a rendered finish, topped with embattled coping. The doorway features a two-centred arch that incorporates reset reticulated tracery from the 14th century.
