Description

This granary, located 30 meters northeast of Bentleys Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from red brick in an English garden wall bond and features a half-hipped roof covered with plain tiles, which has a dentil eaves cornice. The building stands two storeys high and includes a dog-leg external staircase made of sandstone rubble. There is an inserted first-floor gable that provides access to a loft doorway, which is fitted with a boarded door. On the ground floor, there are two doorways, each topped with segmental header brick arches.
