Description

Milestone located between bridges 48 and 49 on the Coventry Canal, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of square-section stone with a rounded top and is positioned at an angle to the canal, at the back of the towing path. The left face of the milestone is inscribed with the number "8," while the right face displays the number "19." This milestone is part of a series along the canal.
