Description

The milestone located at the Coventry Canal dates from around 1785 and is made of stone. It has a triangular shape with inscriptions on two faces. The left face reads "3½" and the right face reads "2". This section of the Coventry Canal was completed by 1786, under the direction of Thomas Dadford senior.
