Description

Brownsfield Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof, raised verges, and brick stacks, one central and one at the end. It comprises two parallel ranges aligned north-east to south-west, facing south-east. The farmhouse is two storeys high with a gable-lit attic. It has a storey band and toothed eaves band, and rusticated ashlar quoins of unequal length. The facade features four bays with casement windows, each with a segmental head. One casement, located to the left of the centre on the first floor, is blind. A door is positioned to the left, and is sheltered by a gabled porch.
