Description

This is a milepost located approximately 107 meters northeast of Bridge Number 65 on the Coventry Canal, dating from 1785 to 1790. It is made of dressed stone and features a short square shape with a rounded cap, set diagonally. The milepost has inscribed figures on adjacent faces, indicating 8 miles to Fradley on the left and 24 miles to Coventry on the right.
