Description
This is a canal lock and basin located southeast of Whittington Road Bridge on the Coventry Canal, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring kerbs and quoins at the lower end made of large sandstone blocks. There have been some repairs made in 19th and 20th century brick. The structure includes both single and double gates.
