Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with later alterations. It is constructed of regular coursed sandstone, with the taller right section featuring timber-framed gables filled with brick, while the left range has a late 19th or early 20th-century brick gable. The roofs are covered with old plain tiles; the left range has an old brick irregular ridge stack, and the right part has a brick internal stack on the right side.
The building has a through-passage and a three-unit plan, consisting of one storey and an attic, with the right part being two storeys tall. The façade has a two-window range. The through-passage between the ranges includes a 20th-century part-glazed door. The left range features a 19th-century two-light casement window on the left, a 20th-century top-hung window on the right, and a 19th-century dormer above that has a two-light casement with a horizontal glazing bar. The right part has 20th-century casements, with two lights on the ground floor and three lights in a brick surround above. The interior has not been inspected.
